EMERGYDENTAL… because dental emergencies don’t always happen between 9am and 5.30pm. Aidan assisted in setting up the first on-call dental emergency service in London and the south-east of England in 1991. This service was hospital-based and ran from 7 PM till 12 AM seven nights a week. Following on from this and seeing a need for an on-call dental emergency service here Aidan set up EMERGYDENTAL in 2011, the only dedicated on-call dental emergency service in the Republic of Ireland.

This service runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Aidan is available to take calls during these periods and whilst emergency appointments are available sometimes all that is needed is a reassuring voice on the end of a phone or advice regarding immediate measures which may need to be taken following dental traumas. Aidan and his team know that emergencies can happen any time and that is why it is so essential that a dentist is available for such occurances.
